Who Are We?

ANN (short for Algerian News Network) is a bilingual general news online newspaper. The Arabic-language version was launched in February 2021, while the French-language version was launched in February 2023.

Our newspaper aims to be a serious, credible, and verified source of information, primarily focused on Algeria across all fields—especially politics, diplomacy, defense, the economy, society, as well as culture, sports, and new technologies.

ANN is also interested in political and economic dynamics, as well as the geopolitical and geostrategic issues of the MENA region, the Sahel, Africa, the Mediterranean, and, more broadly, other parts of the world.

Our ambition is to establish ourselves as a preferred and essential source of information for everyone who wants to learn about Algeria and stay informed about its potential, its history, and its strengths.

ANN offers its readers relevant and impactful insights (in both languages) on many issues that are shaping the country and the world. These analyses and investigations are produced by a talented team, combining experienced journalists with promising young reporters.

ANN is also a digital platform present on all social media networks and provides video coverage of national news and, whenever possible, international news as well.
