Death toll rises to four in Timimoun bus and truck collision, 43 injured

The death toll from the collision between a passenger bus and a truck in Timimoun Province has risen to four, while 43 people were injured, according to an updated statement from Algeria’s Civil Protection.

The crash involved a passenger bus operating on the Batna–Adrar route and a truck. It occurred at Kilometer 287 on National Road No. 51 in the municipality and district of Timimoun.

Emergency services responded to the scene, evacuating the injured to nearby hospitals. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
